Celebrating a Month of Gratitude

Since 2017, Kairos has been dedicated to supporting low-income families, and in 2023, we launched The Kairos Impact Foundation to expand this commitment even further. Over the years, our social impact initiatives have provided essential services and enrichment opportunities, helping families in need build stronger, more resilient lives. Establishing our nonprofit marks a pivotal milestone in our journey, enabling us to reach more people and make a deeper impact on vulnerable communities. Our goal is to foster growth, resilience, and create a brighter future for the families we serve.

As we enter this season of gratitude, we want to take a moment to express our sincere thanks to the many stakeholders who have joined us on this journey. Through their dedication and partnership, we’ve been able to bring vital enrichment activities and resources to the communities we support.

At the heart of the Foundation’s social impact model lies collaboration. We recognize that true progress is achieved through partnerships. Rather than duplicating services, we actively engage with community organizations who are experts in their fields to deliver the types of programs that best serve our residents. By welcoming these groups onto our properties, we’ve removed significant barriers that previously hindered both nonprofits and residents from connecting to impactful services. Our role is that of a bridge — listening to the voices of our residents and ensuring they receive the tools and support they need to reach their goals for health, wellness, and personal growth.

As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” This powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration resonates deeply with our work. Our success is driven by the partnerships we’ve cultivated, and together we are achieving more for the families we serve.

Our partnerships extend beyond external organizations. A key component of our success comes from the collaboration with our property management teams, who work closely with our residents every day. These teams serve as an extension of the Foundation, providing essential resident services and acting as a conduit for communication. We rely on them not only to relay resident feedback but also to help promote our REACH (RESOURCES, ENRICHMENT, AND COMMUNITY HEALTHTM) programs and manage on-site activities. This collaboration is a true partnership, and we deeply value their contributions.

Throughout the month of November, we aim to acknowledge and celebrate the many individuals and organizations who have supported us. We are immensely grateful for the collaboration of nonprofits, academic institutions, government agencies, businesses, and community volunteers. Each has played a crucial role in helping us uplift our residents, and for that, we extend our heartfelt thanks.
